Like virtually the entire Taka, the well-planned and air-conditioned saloon is a great place to relax between dives. Fish ID books litter the library section for your reference pleasure, and a large, flat-panel TV provides movie entertainment. A computer workstation allows guests to check out their photographic catch of the day or, for those who insist on up-to-the-second blog updates, Taka even offers an internet connection.
The expansive dive deck features ample kit-up space with personal storage for every diver on board and 4 toilets and 4 hot showers, cutting down on waiting for your post-dive rinse, before heading to the sundeck for a tan, the bar for a black-and-tan or the restaurant to refuel your body for the next dive.
The usual route which Taka plies takes in the Ribbon Reefs and the far reaches of the Coral Sea, offering some of the Great Barrier Reef's truly exceptional dive sites. Make sure you have a large memory card for your camera!

Taka provides liveaboard comfort with 15 cabins across 5 categories. The Master Stateroom cabin, Deluxe twin and double en-suite cabins are located on the upper deck where windows let in natural light, while the Standard twin cabins and Quad cabins are located on the lower deck, lit with cabin lighting.
