The Cheng Ho is named after a famous Chinese sea-farer and at 49 metres in length, is a fitting testament to his adventurous spirit. She is operated by the very experienced dive company Kararu, and spends several months each year touring around the finest areas that the Raja Ampat region has to offer.

The boat accommodates up to 20 divers in a mix of cabins with 6 singles and 7 twins and doubles. Having so many single cabins means it is a great choice for the independent traveler or for those who like their own space without having to fork out any hefty single supplement. All the cabins are beautifully finished and well-maintained and all feature private en-suite shower rooms.
The boat is very spacious and boasts some excellent facilities such as a separate wine and cinema room, spa and massage services and even laptops, TV and DVD players in the Staterooms. Of course these are in addition to an air conditioned lounge featuring all entertainment facilities you could ask for, including a wireless internet connection. If you'd like to dive the splendour of Raja Ampat on our of our Irian Jaya liveaboards but don't wish to scrimp on mod-cons or comfort, then the Cheng Ho could be the boat for you.

Cheng Ho comfortably accommodates her charges with a total of 13 guest cabins. 3 Staterooms on the upper deck feature large 3m x 1m windows for spectacular views in luxurious lodging. On the lower deck, 2 twin and 2 double cabins are located. 6 single cabins, 4 on the middle deck and 2 on the lower deck, make up the remainder of the cabins.
