MV West Coast Explorer IX is the new boat being operated by the long established and well-respected West Coast Divers, running 4 night Thailand diving cruises around the Similan Islands and the sites to the north.

West Coast Explorer is popular with younger divers from a mixed range of nationalities. The best feature of these Thailand dive cruises is the warm atmosphere generated by the friendly and professional staff, and this is clearly effective in ensuring that guests have a great time.
This liveaboard is a 26m wooden hulled motor boat that can accommodate up to 20 divers in 8 cabins consisting of twin, double or quad share. All cabins have sea views and their own air-conditioner. The upper deck saloon is a social area, fitted with entertainment amenities including TV, VCD, video and stereo systems. Meals are enjoyed in the open air area of the upper deck.
As a new addition to West Coast Divers, this remains a low budget liveaboard cruise, yet with its facilities, cabins with ocean views, and fun and professional service, it represents a great value-for-money budget option.

MV West Coast Explorer IX has 8 cabins. There are 2 Double bed cabins on the upper deck, 4 Twin bunk bed and 2 Quad bunk bed cabins on the main deck.
